Erin was an amazingly gifted writer. I’m so lucky to have gotten to know this perhaps better than anyone due to what were probably hundreds of letters that she wrote to me over the years.
I wanted to share some of her writing on this site.

From Letters
You can probably imagine that most of what’s in the many letters that I have from Erin is very personal. The letters span over the full 12 years of our relationship… actually, there are one or two from before it had even technically started. They span a wide range, including sappy love letters, inane high-school drama and sophomoric shit-talking, steamy graphic details about our sex life, dramatic and in-depth discussion of our relationship and emotional issues, and anything else you can imagine. I get so much from having all of these letters and am so grateful that Erin was such a prolific writer as it allows me to dive deeply into our world whenever I feel like it. It can sometimes be painful, but it can also make me feel so connected with her and those times in our relationship. I wish that there was a way I could share that same feeling with you who loved her, to give you the ability to feel her presence by reading her words. But, of course, these letters are often deeply peronal, and they are ours. However, there are some things in the letters which I think are more generally about Erin or her life and which I would like to share. Here are some such excerpts.
