This Generation
This generation’s language is sarcasm
In your brain, our words, into a voided chasm.
You stain my clothes, “I’m gonna kill your face!”
“Are you gonna kill all of me? Is that just the starting place?”
This generation’s language is ironic
Misunderstanding becoming chronic.
“I just love it Mom, when you break my shit”
“Oh, I’m just so glad. I thought you’d have a fit.”
This generation’s language is exaggeration.
Accuracy lost – the price of inflation!
“But it’s a hundred miles! I can’t walk that far.”
“Oh. Then the odometer’s broken in that car.”
